The practice of homeopathy is a life long study, requiring a combination of academic and clinical experience. Each homeopath brings their own level of knowledge and experience to the challenges of prescribing. This course will focus on the challenges of developing the knowledge and experience needed for practice with a focus on the following areas:

• A deeper exploration of Materia Medica with a focus on the comparison between larger, more well-known remedies and smaller, less well-known ones. 
• A study of important therapeutic guidelines for many conditions found in clinical practice, including clinical practice in an African context. 
• Using real clinical cases to explore the challenges of practice with focus on differential Materia Medica, case analysis and management and obstacles to cure. Practitioners can bring their own cases to share and gain feedback on. 
• Looking at well-known and lesser used nosodes in practice and an exploration of newer remedies.

• 8am-9.30am – Morning yoga/country walk/swim. Your choice. 
• 9.30am-10.30am Breakfast
• 10.30am-1.30pm three hours of discussion and study.
• 1.30pm-2.30pm Lunch
• 2.30pm-7pm Further study for two hours: Afternoon activities: walking in nearby national park; visiting local villages and towns; local winery; swimming and sunbathing at pool or local lake.
• 7pm-8pm Dinner
• 8pm-late Visiting local village; interesting movies; health-based movies and discussion
