Homeopathy is the most popular form of alternative/complementary medicine in the world. It offers many options of self-prescribing for a wide range of conditions, both at home and when travelling. It is the perfect form of natural medicine to treat one’s friends and family, especially children and to use with a homeopathy kit when travelling, especially in more exotic places where certain health challenges can be found. 

This course gives a thorough introduction to the use of homeopathic remedies for many conditions with a focus on conditions found when travelling as well as at home. 

We will also explore great places to travel, from the mainstream to the exotic. Natural Medicine, Geography and History all rolled into one.

The Schedule

8am-9.30am – Morning yoga/country walk/swim. Your choice. 
9.30am-10.30am – Breakfast
10.30am-1.30pm – Three hours a day of study and discussion on how homeopathy and other traditional natural medicines can be used for many acute conditions 
1.30pm-2.30pm – Lunch
Afternoon activities – walking in nearby national park; visiting local villages and towns; local winery; swimming and sunbathing at pool or local lake (Yes its February but you never know)
Alternate afternoons – Travel medicine: Homeopathy on the road? Exploring the world and what to expect. How to prevent sickness. Hints on great places to travel to and explore. 
7pm-8pm – Dinner
8pm-late – Visiting local village; interesting movies; sauna: travel stories etc. 

Meet your Host

Richard Pitt originally studied homeopathy in the UK and lived and practiced for twenty years in the USA. He taught for many years in homeopathic schools throughout the country. He has lived in four African countries for 8 years, including 5 years in Kenya, running a European Union Public Health Project. He still works in Ghana, Kenya, and Eswatini.

He is the author of 6 homeopathic books, including COMPARATIVE MATERIA MEDICA: INTEGRATING NEW AND OLD REMEDIES and THERAPEUTIC GUIDE AND THEMATIC MATERIA MEDICA.

The Venue

Suryalila Retreat Centre is an exquisite yoga and retreat centre in Southern Spain, one hour south of Seville. Situated in a former olive farm, it offers a unique experience with amazing scenery, 4-star accommodation and food, with different room options, swimming, massage, sauna, yoga and more. The local village Prado del Rey has great restaurants, bars, and classic Andalusian culture. The surrounding hills offer beautiful hikes, views and more white villages to visit.
